The Power of God’s Love

Do you believe in the power of love to heal? I do believe it without a doubt. You see, the Lord Jesus Christ is the fullness of God’s love.

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

Whoever believes in Him should not perish in hell but would live eternally.

Whoever believes in Him should not perish alone in his illness but he would be enwrapped in His comfort.

Whoever believes in Him should not perish in his disease and be left alone helpless but would be healed by His touch.

Whoever believes in Him should not perish in fear that chokes, in depression that kills, but He would be liberated.

Whoever believes in Him should not perish in the hands of his enemies, but he would be delivered.

For God so loved.

God operates in love and mercy. He is love. All other works that He performs emanate from love.

The power of His love resurrects the dead, raises the sick, saves the lost — and breathes new life!

He was spit upon and struck and reviled. He spurned the shame. Because He loved.

He was scourged and received many stripes and bled and lay there on the pavement half-dead. He endured it because He loved.

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. (Is. 53:5)

Nails were driven through His feet and guiltless hands, and more blood flowed. All this was nothing to Him. Because He loved.

How can we not then be healed by the power of this love? Boundless. Unequalled. Unfailing. Everlasting.

10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)

The enemy might have stolen our lives, our health, our peace, our joy, our loved ones, our possessions, our dreams, but He has come to redeem them all. He is saying,

“I have come to die to give you life. Because I love you so. Greater love hath no man than this.

“Are you hearing Me, My precious child? Do you grasp My love at last? Therefore, I urge you to be rooted and established in My love.”

Healing through love – yes! Because love covers a multitude of sins (Prov. 10:12).
